everyone needs support

Birth is wild. It is unpredictable and filled with the unknown.

And that’s ok . Really it is.

Having a doula means you have someone who has been there, who has seen it, who can help guide and walk with you as you navigate the many ways your birth unfolds. Someone who is tuned in to you and your loved ones, supporting what you want and need each step of the way.

A doula is someone you have built a trusted relationship with, someone to be honest, kind, and present with you before, during and after birth. Offering continuity, familiarity, and comfort.

Doulas aren’t just for the birthing person. We support all the loved ones present. So each person can show up in the ways they want to in birth.

What exactly is a doula?

Doulas provide informational, emotional, and physical support prenatally, during labor, and postpartum. This looks like sharing trusted resources, referrals, and information to help you make decisions that feel aligned with you and your families values. It is offering a listening ear to your concerns, thoughts, and feelings without judgment or agenda. And it is physically being present with you during your labor and birth offering comfort techniques, position suggestions, and overall support of your body.
