everyone needs support

Birth is wild. It is unpredictable and filled with the unknown.

And that’s ok . Really it is.

Having birth preparation sessions with a doula means you have someone who has been there, who has seen it, who can help you understand and prepare for the many ways your birth might unfold. Someone who gets to know you and your loved ones, helping you discover what you want and need so you can advocate for yourselves each step of the way.

Birth preparation is about building knowledge and confidence with someone you trust—someone who will be honest, kind, and thorough as they help you prepare for before, during, and after birth. Offering you the tools, understanding, and self-assurance to navigate your unique journey.

Birth preparation isn't just for the birthing person. We work with all your loved ones who will be present, equipping everyone with knowledge and skills so each person can show up confidently in the ways they want to during birth.

What exactly is birth preparation?

Birth preparation provides you with comprehensive education, emotional readiness tools, and physical comfort techniques before your baby arrives. This looks like sharing trusted resources, evidence-based information, and guidance to help you make decisions that feel aligned with you and your family's values. It includes creating space to process your concerns, thoughts, and feelings without judgment while helping you build confidence in your choices. And it means learning hands-on comfort techniques, optimal positioning, and coping strategies that you and your support team can use during labor and birth.

I would love to help you prepare to welcome your baby!
